Solugenix is assisting a client in their search for a Sr. Motor Designer. This is a direct hire opportunity based in Lake Forest, CA. 

Qualification:

• Proficiency in motor analysis and modeling of induction and PM motors both radial and axial flux.
• Proficiency in Multiphysics analysis techniques.
• Proficiency in electromagnetic properties of rotating machinery.
• Proficiency modeling in Ansys Fluent and related tools.
• Experience designing and implementing electromagnetic motor solutions and designs.
• Experience optimizing motor designs.
• in Electrical Engineering.
• Automate workflow to reduce engineering investment in the design cycle.
• Experience designing motors for manufacturability.

Responsibilities:

• Architecting electromagnetic analysis to maximize performance and efficiency.
• Developing detailed designs to provide design feedback and component requirements.
• Analyzing simulation and measurement results to correlate models.

Annual Base Salary Range for CA, CO, IL, NJ, NY, WA, and DC: $125,000 to $175,000. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training and/or experience.
