Overview

We are looking for a UX/UI Engineer to join a quickly growing team in Atlanta, GA. Our client works in the SaaS space catering to the hospitality industry and has been voted top place to work in 2022!

They are planning some large product expansion efforts in 2024 and are ready to grow their team with top talent and team players!

Qualified candidates must be able to go into the Lawrenceville, GA office 3 days per week. 

This is a direct hire role and C2C candidates will not be considered. Must have permanent authorization to work in the US for any employer without company sponsorship. 

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user requirements, business objectives, and technical constraints.
• Assist team members in implementing modern, reactive design concepts from a code perspective.
• Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability studies for in-depth insights into customer needs, pain points, and preferences.
• Develop an understanding of user personas and behaviors to guide design decisions.
• Merge user feedback, industry best practices, and stakeholder input to define UX/UI design strategies and goals.
• Create wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity prototypes using tools like Adobe XD for visualizing and communicating design concepts.
• Assist in designing and developing front-end components and code to ensure feasible design solutions.
• Advocate for user-centric design principles throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Conduct usability testing to validate design choices and make data-driven improvements.
• Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices.
• Other Duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
• Professional experience doing UX/UI Product Design, including proficiency in Angular or similar front-end languages.
• Strong portfolio showcasing user-centric designs and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar design tools.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to translate user research into actionable design recommendations and code.
• Experience in usability testing and A/B testing.
• Attention to detail and passion for delivering polished, user-friendly interfaces.
• Knowledge of front-end development principles; familiarity with agile methodologies is a plus.
• Ability to build and maintain positive business relationships.
