The Pressure Relief Valve Technician - Trainee position will be introduced and trained in assessment, maintenance, testing and repair of industrial pressure relief valves and devices. Work may be performed within the company facility or at a client based location.

Duties include:

• Identify test, reset and repair basic spring-loaded industrial pressure relief (pop) valves.
• Assist in assembly, tagging, and sealing of pressure relief devices.
• Assist in disassembly and inspection of pressure relief devices.
• Introduction to ASME and NBIC Codes and Manuals.
• Introduction to test gauge calibration methods, procedures and testing components.
• Other training and duties as directed by supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience

• Must pass national background check, motor vehicle report and pre-employment physical/drug & alcohol screening.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting
