Entry Level Accountant
QUAD is currently seeking an Entry Level Accountant for a recognized company’s Elkridge, MD location.
The Entry Level Accountant will be responsible for various organizational accounting activities, with emphasis on job costing and accounts payable. Would consider a recent college graduate with internship/co-op experience.
Responsibilities of the Entry Level Accountant
- Developing job budgets and monitoring costs for variances to budget
- Creating in process project tracking and reporting system
- Assisting with standard costing process and cost reduction initiatives
- Overseeing customer payment schedules creation and maintenance
- Managing delinquent accounts collection efforts
- Completing month end close activities
- Handling account reconciliations preparation
- Performing inventory transactions analysis and reconciliation
- Overseeing inventory and cycle count process
Requirements of the Entry Level Accountant
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- 1 years accounting experience
- Construction industry experience preferred
- Job costing knowledge preferred
- Microsoft Office and ERP system proficiency
- Excellent customer service orientation
Additional Details:
Salary: To $75k
