The Vice President,Business Development creates, coordinates, and executes growth plans and strategies targeted at hospital and physician practice entities with the purpose of expanding the Solis platform across the country.

Responsibilities:

  • Business development resource and contact for C-suite level relationships
  • Manages and coordinates opportunity generation strategies for hospitals and physician practices, including lead generation and follow up
  • Works with the marketing and business development team to develop and execute growth strategies
  • Develops and delivers presentations to prospective business partners at hospital and physician practice entities
  • Evaluates business opportunities to assess potential and risks and prepares recommendations, accordingly
  • Works closely with appropriate Operations Leadership to monitor business development projects and their effectiveness.
  • Provides monthly analysis of sales data to VP, with recommendations for improvement.
  • Oversees maintenance of business development database (SalesForce), insuring timely input of data, quality of data, etc.
  • Participates in on-site sales activities including industry trade shows, conference calls and site visits to prospective referral sources as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree. Master’s Degree Preferred and 10 or more years of sales/business development experience with 4 or more of those years in healthcare business to business services, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of and/or experience working with hospitals and physician practices. Radiology imaging or women’s health experience preferred
  • Experience in consultative roles preferred
