Job Summary:Job SummaryPerforms ultrasound procedures in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures to ensure the best possible patient care services are delivered.
Key Responsibilities

• Reviews radiology exam requests and patient identification to ensure safe, appropriate and cost-effective imaging. Maternal Fetal Medicine and high-risk OB scanning experience needed.
• Applies broad range of skills to ensure exam is completed timely and meets quality and compliance standards.
• Provides appropriate radiation protection to patient, staff and self according to prescribed safety standards.
• May be designated as an interim shift lead in the absence of the Radiology Technologist Team Lead.
• Assists in the orientation and training of new staff.

• Position requires some floating to other locations.

• Anatomy & Physiology Knowledge (Intermediate): Demonstrates mastery of anatomy and physiology knowledge in practical applications of a difficult nature.
