The Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer I performs sonographic examinations to locate, evaluate and record critical functional, pathological, and anatomical data. Operates ultrasonic equipment to produce images of the body's organs and tissues for diagnostic purposes. Being a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer I may require an associate degree in a related area. Records test results, inspects and maintains equipment, and orders supplies when needed.
