Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons during cardiovascular surgical procedures by providing direct assistance in tissue manipulation, hemostasis, and closure of surgical wounds.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and maintain a sterile field throughout procedures.
• Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and instruments.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and procedural success.

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Surgical First Assist (CSFA).
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a CVOR CSFA.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Dedication to providing high-quality patient care in the cardiovascular operating room setting.
• Flexibility and adaptability for a 13-week travel assignment.
