Position : Pharmacy Technician

Start Date : ASAP

Contract Duration : 3-6 months (Contract to Hire)

Shift Availability : Monday - Friday, 8 : 30 am - 5 : 00 pm

Monday - Friday, 12 : 30 pm - 9 : 00 pm

Job Responsibilities :

• Manage pharmacy inventory
• Prepare, fill, and label orders, and dispense medications under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist
• Prepackage oral and external medications using various packaging and labeling equipment
• Interpret physicians directions and type prescription labels
• Order medications and pharmaceutical supplies under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist
• Verify delivered orders, restock medication shelves, rotate and remove outdated drugs
• Maintain a clean working environment, including pharmacy equipment and work counters
• Maintain stock records

Physical Requirements :

• Ability to remain stationary 50% of the time
• Ability to move boxes weighing up to 20 pounds across the pharmacy as needed

Qualifications :

• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of FL
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
• At least 2 years of recent experience in a high-volume retail or closed-door setting, handling a volume of 600 prescriptions per day
