We are actively seeking a Special Education Teacher (SPED) for the remainder of the 2023-2024 school year. Please see details below :

Location : Ypsilanti, MI

PAY : $36 / hr (negotiable / depending on experience)

Details :

• Contract Position Full Time
• M-F ; 9 : 10am-4 : 40pm
• Caseload Details :
• Elementary ASD room, - 5 kiddos- 2 paras in the room
• On site Only
• Zoom Interview

Duties :

• Assess students skills and determine their educational needs.
• Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student.
• Teach and mentor students as a class, in small groups and one-on-one.
• Discuss students progress with parents, other teachers, counselors, and administrators.

Requirements :

• Bachelors Degree in Education or Masters / Doctoral Degree in Special Education
• Active Michigan Special Education Teaching license
