We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher with Severe licenses to join our team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about working with students with severe needs and committed to providing individualized support and instruction. This is a full-time position in a year-round school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with severe needs.
• Provide direct instruction and support to students in both academic and functional skill areas.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs and abilities of students.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student engagement and success.
• Collaborate with other members of the educational team, including related service providers, to support student progress and achievement.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress and collaborate on goal setting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Massachusetts teaching license in Special Education with Severe Disabilities endorsement.
• Experience working with students with severe needs in a school setting.
• Strong understanding of best practices in special education and evidence-based interventions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations.
