Job Description :

• Position : Special Education Teacher
• Duration : Full-time for the 2024-2025 school year.

Responsibilities :

• Design and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) specific to each student's requirements.
• Deliver direct instruction in academic subjects, life skills, and social skills.
• Teach all core subjects.
• Establish a structured and supportive classroom atmosphere that promotes learning.
• Track and record student progress towards IEP goals and objectives.
• Assist students with their daily activities in a self-contained classroom environment.
• Coordinate communication between students, parents, and staff concerning student progress and needs.

Qualifications :

• Certification(s) in General Curriculum.
• Experience working with K-6th students is preferred but not required.
• Ability to manage caseloads of different sizes.
