Job Title : Special Education Teacher

Soliant is seeking multiple dedicated Special Education Teachers to join our team in the Omaha, Nebraska areafor the 2024-25 school year.

This is an onsite, full-time position that involves working with students in a middle school setting. We offer weekly pay, great benefits, and guaranteed hours with all of our full-time positions.

What You'll Do :

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to differentiate instruction and accommodate the needs of students with disabilities.
• Assess student progress regularly and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and progress towards IEP goals.
• Assist with the facilitation of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy for students on the autism spectrum

What We're Looking For :

• Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Experience with students who have disabilities preferred
• Experience in an elementary resource classroom setting preferred
• Strong understanding of special education laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
