Job Title : Special Education Teacher - Elementary

Location : Blacksburg, SC

Soliant is currently seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team for the 2024-25 school year in Blacksburg, SC.

This full-time position offers an opportunity to work onsite with elementary students, providing specialized instruction and support.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
• Provide direct instruction to students in academic subjects, focusing on individual learning goals and accommodations.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure inclusion and accessibility in the classroom.
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid South Carolina state certification or eligibility for certification as a Special Education Teacher.
• Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred.
• Strong understanding of special education laws and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
