Job Title : Special Education Teacher

Location : Bentonville, AR

Job Description : Soliant is seeking a passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team in Bentonville, AR. The Special Education Teacher will play a vital role in providing quality education and support to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring they have the resources and guidance to succeed academically and socially.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities, tailored to their unique learning needs and goals
• Provide direct instruction in core academic subjects, using differentiated teaching strategies and accommodations to support student learning
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to create inclusive learning environments and implement effective instructional practices
• Assess student progress regularly, using data to inform instructional decisions and modify teaching strategies as needed
• Provide support and guidance to students in developing self-advocacy skills and fostering independence in their learning
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and participation, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
• Participate in professional development opportunities and collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and student outcomes

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Special Education or related field
• Valid Special Education teaching license or certification in the state of Arkansas
• Experience working with students with disabilities in an educational setting preferred
• Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families
