American Sign Language Interpreter Summerville, SC
We are seeking a dedicated American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter to join our school community. As an ASL Interpreter, you will play a crucial role in facilitating communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing students and their peers, teachers, and staff. This is a great opportunity for the 2024 - 2025 school year.
Job Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in ASL or Educational Interpreting
• Must hold an active SLI National Certification
• Previous experience as a school SLI preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Provide interpreting services for students in various educational settings.
• Facilitate communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing students and teachers during lessons, discussions, and other school activities.
Collaborate with educators and support staff to ensure an inclusive learning environment for all students.
