Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
• Certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant from an accredited institution.
• Valid state SLPA licensure.
• Previous experience working as an SLPA in educational settings preferred.
• Familiarity with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and special education regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Assist in the assessment and documentation of students communication skills and progress.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities and curriculum.
• Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, progress notes, and student outcomes.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and progress.
• Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding therapy recommendations and strategies.
