Job Title: School Psychologist
Location: Onsite or Remote, North of Leavenworth, KS
Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours/week
Description:

• Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations to assess students' cognitive, academic, social, and emotional functioning.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral intervention plans (BIPs).
• Provide counseling and support services to students experiencing academic, behavioral, or emotional difficulties.
• Participate in the special education eligibility determination process and contribute to the development of intervention strategies.
• Assist in the implementation of school-wide positive behavior support programs.
• Serve as a resource to staff and parents regarding issues related to child development, learning, and behavior management.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Requirements:

• Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
• Valid School Psychologist certification or license in the state of Kansas.
• Experience working in educational settings, preferably in K-12 schools.
• Strong assessment and diagnostic skills, including knowledge of standardized assessment tools and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Understanding of special education laws and regulations, including IDEA and Section 504.
