Educational Requirements:

• Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.

Certifications:

• New Jersey State School Psychologist Certification.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments to identify students' academic and behavioral needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement intervention strategies.
• Provide counseling and support to students individually or in group settings.
• Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop behavior intervention plans.
• Collaborate with school staff to create a positive and inclusive school climate.
• Assist in crisis intervention and support as needed.
• Stay informed about current trends and research in the field of school psychology.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
• New Jersey State School Psychologist Certification.
• Strong assessment and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
