A School Registered Nurse (RN) position has opened within our school district. Job Description:
As a School Nurse serving our school community, you will play a pivotal role in promoting and maintaining the health and wellness of our students, You will be responsible for providing direct nursing care, managing health-related issues, and promoting health education and preventiveservices within the school setting.
Job Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Associates Degree in Nursing
• Must have active New HampshireRN license or Compact License
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as Registered Nurse, with previous school experience required.
• Strong clinical assessment and thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct healthcare services to students and staff, including first aid, administering medications, and managing medical emergencies.
• Manage and maintain accurate health records for students, including immunization records, health assessments, and individualized healthcare plans (IHPs) for students with chronic health conditions.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care and support for students' health needs.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate intervention and follow-up care as needed.
• Maintain compliance with state regulations, school policies, and professional standards for school nursing practice.
• Educate students and staff on health-related topics and promote wellness initiatives within the school community.
