1:1 Middle School Nurse Position for the 24/25 School Year

Soliant is in need of a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to work one-on-one with a middle school student in Easton, MD, for the 2024-2025 school year. This role involves providing specialized care, including tube feeding, and requires bus riding to and from school with the student. The position offers weekly pay with a competitive hourly rate of $45 and a comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one nursing care to a middle school student with specific medical needs.
• Administer tube feedings and other specialized medical care as required.
• Ensure the student's safety and well-being during school hours and during transportation to and from school.
• Monitor and document the student's health status, maintaining accurate and confidential health records.
• Communicate with parents, teachers, and other school staff regarding the student's health needs and any changes in condition.
• Participate in meetings and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement the student's health plan.

Requirements:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland.
• Experience in pediatric or school nursing is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
• Flexibility to ride the school bus with the student.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a school setting.
