Position Overview :

Penn Medicine Valley Forge Hospital is seeking an IV / Infusion Pharmacy Technician to join our team on a temporary basis.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of recent and relevant experience, with expertise in compounding drugs, particularly hazardous drug compounding.

Please note that compounding at our site is on-demand, not batch-based, so experience in this dynamic environment is preferred.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare and compound medications for IV / infusion therapies as per physician orders.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely preparation and delivery of medications.
• Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and organizational policies.

Shift : Days, 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM

Qualifications :

• Minimum of two years of recent and relevant experience in pharmacy, with a focus on IV / infusion compounding.
• Experience with hazardous drug compounding strongly preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• PTCB certification highly preferred, but not required.

Note :

• Pennsylvania does not regulate pharmacy technicians, so there is no license requirement.
• Please include any requested time-off (RTO) in your application.
