Soliant has partnered with a LTC pharmacy to find skilled Pharmacy Technician III or Pharmacy Technician Leads to work second shift at a pharmacy in Worcester MA

Position: Pharmacy Technician III
Duration: 12 weeks
Setting: Long Term Care
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM, rotating weekends

Responsibilities:
As a Pharmacy Technician III, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks to support our pharmacy operations, including:

• Filling daily drug orders accurately and efficiently under the supervision of a pharmacist.
• Assisting in processing returned drugs and recycling/disposing of medications per procedure.
• Supporting prepacking of frequently ordered medications, labeling, and storage.
• Packaging materials and products manually for safe delivery.
• Providing excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers.
• Maintaining accurate records of medication orders and dispensing activities.
• Operating and maintaining specialized pharmacy equipment.
• Assisting in inventory management and ordering supplies.
• Participating in quality assurance activities to ensure medication safety and compliance.
• Training and supervising Pharmacy Technician I and II staff members as needed.

Requirements:
We are seeking candidates who meet the following criteria:

• Active MA Pharmacy Technician license and PTCB certification.
• Recent experience as a Pharmacy Technician, preferably in a long-term care or similar setting.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication handling.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
