Role Description: This full-time Paraprofessional position offers the opportunity to work within various classroom settings, including providing one-on-one or small group support to students as directed by the classroom teacher, assisting with classroom activities, and supporting students with special needs or individualized education plans (IEPs). Paraprofessionals will collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other staff members to meet the diverse needs of students and maintain confidentiality regarding student information.

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students as directed by the classroom teacher.
• Assist with classroom activities, including instructional lessons, projects, and assessments.
• Help students with assignments, homework, and reinforcing learning concepts.
• Support students with special needs or individualized education plans (IEPs) by implementing accommodations and modifications.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other staff members to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Supervise students during classroom activities, transitions, lunch, recess, and other school-related events.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding student information and adhere to school policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (associates or bachelors degree preferred).
• Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting.
• Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in education.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with young children.
• Ability to follow directions, work independently, and adapt to changing situations.
Willingness to undergo a background check and any required training or certifications.
