As an Order Entry Pharmacy Technician, you'll play a critical role in ensuring patients receive their medications promptly and accurately. Your responsibilities will include entering new and refill prescriptions, providing excellent customer service via telephone consultations, and collaborating with the team to maintain efficient pharmacy operations. Title: Order Entry Pharmacy Technician
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Duration: 13-week Contract to Hire
Shifts: Various Monday to Friday shifts available, starting between 5 am and 2 pm. Rotation of weekends required for all shifts.

Job Responsibilities:

• Enter new and refill medication orders accurately and efficiently into the pharmacy software system
• Track delivery status of medications and provide superior customer service during telephonic consultations
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of medications and exceed customer expectations
• Monitor reports to identify and resolve medication order issues promptly
• Ensure Order Entry meets pharmacy run time commitments and exceeds customer expectations

Requirements:

• Active Arizona pharmacy technician license and PTCB certification required
• Previous experience in long-term care (LTC) setting preferred
• Strong data/order entry experience and familiarity with pharmacy software, preferably Frameworks
• Dependable, customer service-oriented, and excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong team player, problem-solver, and quick learner with adaptability to a dynamic environment
