Position: School Psychologist

Contract Term: 2024-2025School Year

Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and qualified School Psychologist to join our team for the 2024-2025school year in Romeoville, IL. As a School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in promoting the academic, social, and emotional well-being of students through assessment, intervention, and collaboration with educators, parents, and other professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive abilities, academic achievement, and socio-emotional functioning.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions for students with diverse needs.
• Provide counseling and support services to students dealing with academic and behavioral challenges.
• Consult with teachers and parents regarding strategies to address students' learning and behavior difficulties.
• Participate in the evaluation and identification of students for special education services.
• Assist in the implementation of school-wide programs aimed at fostering positive school climate and mental health awareness.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and progress notes.

Qualifications:

• Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
• Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Illinois.
• Knowledge of assessment tools and techniques for evaluating cognitive, academic, and socio-emotional functioning.
• Familiarity with special education laws, regulations, and IEP development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• 37.5 hours/week
• Mild to Moderate disabilities
• K-12 openings
  • Caseload will be assigned based on preference and experience
$47/hr - $51/hr
