Location: Riverside, CA

Schedule: Variable days and afternoons. Must be willing to work an occasional night shift

Job Responsibilities:

• Inputs physician stock order requests and charges appropriately
• Compounds ointments, creams, oral solutions, and medications
• Adheres with regulatory guidelines for documenting compounding fills, labels, and appropriately packages medications and pharmaceuticals
• Assists in maintaining workflow in an appropriate, productive, and prioritized manner
• Accurately assembles medications, pharmaceuticals, and supplies for pharmacist to check
• Restocks medication following fills in appropriate location and assesses stock for reordering needs
• Maintains inventory so that pharmacy remains stocked with essential pharmaceuticals and supplies
• Receives inventory, rotates and stocks to ensure that outdated medications are pulled from the shelves
• Returns outdated, expired, and overstock pharmaceuticals for credit when possible; appropriately disposing of medications, under supervision of a pharmacist when appropriate
• Conducts routine followup on all overdue shipments and work directly with the vendor to resolve problems

Ideal Candidate:

• Certified Pharmacy Technician in the state of California, active and in good standing
• Must be COVID Vaccinated, no exceptions
• Full time availability
• Prior experience with Cerner and Pyxis is highly preferred
