Are you a compassionate and dedicated School Social Worker seeking an opportunity to support students in their academic, social, and emotional growth? We are currently seeking a qualified individual to join our team at [School Name] in Center Line, MI. The selected candidate will work with a diverse K-12 student population, supporting approximately 20 students.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students to address social, emotional, and behavioral concerns
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement interventions and support plans
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student needs and develop appropriate intervention strategies
• Serve as a resource and advocate for students and families in accessing community resources and support services
• Facilitate workshops and presentations on topics related to social-emotional learning, mental health, and bullying prevention
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions and progress

Requirements (Non-negotiable):

• State educational licensure as a school social worker
• Experience working with K-12 students in an educational setting preferred
• Strong understanding of child development, behavioral interventions, and counseling techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Compassion, empathy, and a commitment to promoting student well-being
