Soliant Health is currently seeking a proficient IR (Interventional Radiology) Technician for a contract position in Columbus, Ohio. The ideal candidate will possess specialized experience in interventional radiology procedures and will play a pivotal role in assisting radiologists and other medical professionals during image-guided interventions. This position requires a high level of expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic clinical environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist radiologists and physicians during interventional radiology procedures
• Prepare and maintain the IR suite, equipment, and supplies
• Operate specialized imaging equipment such as fluoroscopy and angiography machines
• Monitor patients' vital signs and comfort levels throughout procedures
• Ensure strict adherence to sterile techniques and safety protocols
• Accurately document procedure details and patient information
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless workflow and patient care

Requirements:

• Certification as an Interventional Radiology Technician
• Previous experience in interventional radiology is essential
• Proficiency in operating IR equipment and technology
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
