Coverage Hours:
- Days: 6:30am-3pm or 7am-3:30pm
- Evenings: 3pm-11:30pm or 3:30pm-12am
Skills Required:
- Inpatient experience (2 years preferred)
- Intravenous (IV) skills
- Proficiency with Automated Dispensing Cabinets
State License Requirement: Indiana
Order Entry System: Epic Experience preferred but will be trained
Site Automation: Omnicell Experience preferred but will be trained
Job Responsibilities:
1. Medication Preparation and Dispensing:
- Prepare and dispense medications accurately under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Ensure adherence to pharmacy standards, written procedures, and state regulatory requirements.
2. Patient Records Management:
- Maintain and update patient records with precision, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.
3. Packaging and Labeling:
- Set up, package, and label medication doses following established protocols to guarantee patient safety and proper dosage.
4. Billing Procedures:
- Execute billing-related duties efficiently, contributing to the smooth financial workflow of the pharmacy operations.
5. Autonomous Task Completion:
- Perform job duties under minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and adherence to established procedures and guidelines.
6. Follow Through and Completion:
- Ensure the accurate and timely completion of daily activities, demonstrating commitment to follow through on tasks to guarantee overall operational efficiency.
If you have 2 years of inpatient experience, IV skills, and familiarity with automated dispensing cabinets, along with a valid Indiana state pharmacy technician license, we invite you to apply for this interim position.
