Soliant is Hiring a Full time School Psychologist-24-25 SY Near Seattle, WA

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join our team for the 24-25 school year on a full-time basis. As a School Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the social, emotional, and academic well-being of our students. Your responsibilities will primarily focus on conducting evaluations, functional behavior assessments (FBA), behavior intervention plans (BIP), and various assessments to ensure the appropriate provision of services and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' cognitive, academic, social, and emotional functioning.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective behavior intervention plans (BIP) based on functional behavior assessments (FBA).
  • Provide expertise in understanding and addressing behavioral challenges, including conducting risk assessments and crisis interventions as needed.
  • Administer and interpret a variety of assessments to identify students' strengths, weaknesses, and learning needs.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of appropriate goals and interventions.
  • Provide consultation and support to teachers and staff regarding behavioral and academic interventions.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
  • Valid Washington State Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification as a School Psychologist.
  • Previous experience working as a School Psychologist in an educational setting, preferably in Washington State.
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools, techniques, and best practices in conducting evaluations.
  • Experience in conducting functional behavior assessments (FBA) and developing behavior intervention plans (BIP).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Commitment to promoting equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive practices in education.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines in professional practice.
