Soliant is Hiring an Educational diagnostician Near Coushatta, LA

Minimum 1 years Educational Diagnostician experience required.

As an Educational Diagnostician, you will play a crucial role in assessing the educational needs of students with diverse learning abilities and providing valuable insights to support their academic success.

Working collaboratively with educators, administrators, and parents, you will conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' strengths, weaknesses, and individualized learning needs.

Your expertise will guide the development of tailored intervention plans and support strategies to address academic challenges and promote student progress.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, and developmental abilities.
  • Interpret assessment results and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders in a clear and accessible manner.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans tailored to students' unique needs.
  • Provide guidance and support to teachers in implementing evidence-based instructional strategies and accommodations to meet students' learning goals.
  • Monitor student progress and make data-informed decisions to adjust intervention plans as needed.
  • Stay current with best practices, research, and legal requirements in special education and educational assessment.

Qualifications :

  • Master's degree in Special Education, School Psychology, Educational Psychology, or related field.
  • Louisiana state certification as an Educational Diagnostician.
  • Experience conducting educational assessments and interpreting assessment data.
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Dedication to promoting equity, inclusion, and academic success for all students.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Previous experience working as an Educational Diagnostician in a school or educational setting.
  • Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans.
