Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR), ensuring all necessary equipment, instruments, and supplies are ready for use.
• Assist surgeons and other team members during CVOR procedures by anticipating their needs and providing prompt support.
• Operate and maintain CVOR equipment and instrumentation, troubleshooting issues as they arise and ensuring proper functionality.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure efficient and effective patient care and optimal surgical outcomes.
• Adhere to strict safety protocols and infection control procedures to maintain a safe surgical environment.

Qualifications:

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required.
• At least two years of recent experience as a CVOR Technician or Surgical Technologist in a cardiovascular setting.
• Proficiency in setting up and maintaining sterile fields, as well as knowledge of CVOR procedures, instrumentation, and equipment.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to adapt to new environments and work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
