CT Technologist Travel Job in Jersey

I am working with a radiology manager in New Jersey to hire a CT tech for a 13 week travel assignment!

This is a day shift position, possible 8 or 10 hour shifts, with 40 hours guaranteed per week.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of complex CT procedures using advanced imaging equipment.
• Analyze patient medical history to ensure accurate exam preparation.
• Collaborate with physicians to ensure appropriate exam selection and contrast administration.
• Maintain meticulous scan documentation and adhere to strict radiation safety protocols.
• Provide clear explanations and instructions to patients throughout the examination process.
• Monitor patient well-being during scans and address any concerns.
• Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• ARRT (CT) certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of CT experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• NYSDOH Radiologic Technologist License with Certification to Inject (or equivalent for NJ).
• Excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to patient care.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
