We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Social Studies Teacher for the 6th-8th grade level for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. The successful candidate will be licensed to work in Minnesota schools, and ideally, will have a minimum of one year of school experience.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the Minnesota state standards for 6th-8th grade Social Studies.
• Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and resources to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary units and projects.
• Assess and track student progress, providing timely feedback to students and parents.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Education or related field.
• Valid teaching license for the state of Minnesota.
• At least one year of experience teaching in a school setting, preferably within the specified grade range and subject.
• Strong knowledge of 6th-8th grade Social Studies curriculum and Minnesota state standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
