Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with state standards and curriculum objectives.
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and respected.
• Use a variety of instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of students and promote active learning.
• Foster critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration among students through differentiated instruction.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student success and maintain open communication.
• Participate in professional development activities to stay updated on best practices in education.

Requirements :

• Bachelors degree in Education or related field (Masters degree preferred).
• Valid teaching license / certification for elementary education in the state of New Jersey.
• Experience teaching 5th grade or similar age group preferred.
• Strong classroom management skills and ability to create a positive learning environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.
• Passion for making a difference in the lives of students.
