Job Description:
Burke County School District is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join our team for the upcoming academic year. This position offers the opportunity to provide essential psychological services to students, including evaluations, interventions, and support within a collaborative educational environment.

Position Details:

• Job Title: School Psychologist
• Location: Waynesboro, GA
• Duration: July 29th - May 30th
• Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (40 hours per week if willing to take on district responsibilities)
• Caseload: Assigned as scheduled, rotation throughout school campuses
• Estimated Caseload Size: Approximately 35 full evaluations per year

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations, including initial assessments and re-evaluations
• Implement interventions and support strategies to address student needs
• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA)
• Participate in Threat Assessments and Manifestation Determination Reviews (MDRs)
• Attend Tier 2 and Tier 3 Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) meetings
• Collaborate with district staff and administrators to support student success
