Use geospatial analysis skills and tools to produce hazard and risk data and analyses and deliver quality analysis to increase public awareness and promote actions that reduce risk to life and property.
*Gather and integrate various data sources (e.g., satellite imagery, aerial photographs, field surveys, and publicly available datasets) to improve analysis of geospatial information. Analyze this data to identify vulnerable areas, assess damage, and estimate potential impacts.
*Use geospatial analysis skills in assessing hazard maps and risk assessments to identify areas prone to specific disasters, such as floods, wildfires, hurricanes, or earthquakes. Use data analysis for disaster planning, mitigation strategies, and community preparedness initiatives.
*Use geospatial analysis results in collaborating with other agencies, stakeholders, and communities to share critical spatial information and promote preparation for risks; communicate findings to stakeholders and the public through maps, reports, and presentations
