Description

Solenis has an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineering Manager for large capital projects. We are looking to you to provide engineering expertise to plants and support plants on capital projects (design review, standards and project specific specifications).

Your main duties:

• In leading by example, you will spearhead safety, compliance and the overall Responsible Care process
• Uphold ethos and behavior that demonstrate safety and compliance as a critical aspect to your role
• Be responsible for maintaining corporate engineering standards
• Steer efforts around teamwork structures
• Use your technical problem solving capabilities
• Showcase your organizational and self-management skills

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering preferred
• Minimum 10 years of manufacturing experience in a chemical operation
• Capital Project Management experience is required – including projects > 1M.
• Familiarity with engineering codes and standards
• Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, minimum
• SAP experience is highly desirable.
• Ability to travel domestically 10-25%
