Tahiti Resort brings a touch of the South Pacific to Las Vegas. Just three miles from the world famous Las Vegas Strip, Tahiti Resort is a tropical oasis in the desert. A thatch porte cochere is the centerpiece of our entrance, while tropical landscaping and decorations complete the theme. Role:
The primary responsibilities as an Inspector is to oversee and evaluate units prior to check in and monitor corridors and the up keep of the standards. To ensure the smooth operation of the department and working as a Team. They are expected to deliver excellent service to our teams and our guest, to have a memorable experience during their stay here at Tahiti Village with us.
Responsibilities:
· Arriving on time for all scheduled shifts in proper uniform, including nametags.
· Collect assignment sheet and radio in the morning
· Assigned to inspect up to 25 rooms on a daily basis
· Track assigned housekeepers progress throughout the day; inform the housekeeping office if anyone has fallen behind
· Continuous inspect room throughout the day to ensure everything is cleaned properly, correct amount of amenities are in the room and in working order; update Inspectors Table Device in a timely manner to ensure guest/ owners rooms are ready to check in by time 4pm.
· Report any substandard conditions found in rooms along with reporting it to the housekeeping office.
· Provide feedback to Guest Room Attendants regarding deficiencies in rooms that need to be corrected and coach them
· Communicate with the housekeeping office all vacant clean rooms that are complete and free of discrepancies.
· Assists housekeeping department on busy days by helping with touch-up, stocking lockers and if needed cleaning rooms.
· Answer & respond to radio calls in professional and friendly manner throughout the duration of the shift.
· Inspect VIPs and ensure the highest quality standards are maintained
· Maintain and consistently enforce the housekeeping departmental cleaning Standard procedures
· Maintain and ensure excellent communication line between managers and coworkers
· Ensure proper usage of chemicals and proper labeling in accordance with OSHA regulations.
· Performs other duties as assigned, requested, or deemed necessary by management
· Follow proper lost and found procedures for items left behind in a guest room
· Must manage time accordingly in order to complete the required work.
· Interact with guests/ owners to ensure a positive guest experience
· The ability to handle situations including but not limited to angry or frustrated customers while maintaining a professional demeanor.
· Ensure proper care of housekeeping equipment
· Maintain a positive and humane with a professional demeanor during all interactions with guest and fellow Team Members, to ensure a positive culture for our Team Environment.
· Ability to accept performance feedback in a professional manner.
· Enhance the guest service and environment while dealing with guest, in a positive manner.
· Maintain a flexible schedule according to the Resorts occupancy and business.
· Comply with all safety protocol and training, sanitation policies and procedures.
Requirements
· Cleaning experience in a similar or related field or equivalent education/certification in Housekeeping
· Basic knowledge on handling devices and radios
· Ability to work any shift including nights, holiday and weekends
· Are you able to effectively communicate orally and written in English
· 1 year of previous experience
· Working knowledge of chemicals/ cleaning supplies including Safety Data Sheet and OSHA regulations

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Ability to bend, kneeling and stretching most of the working day
· Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
· Able to work in areas containing dust, varying noise and temperature levels, lighting, vibration and air quality
· Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
· Must be able to work in fast-pace work place
Inspector are not limited to the above mentioned job description and may be requested to do additional tasks as directed by Housekeeping Management Team.
