Title: Pre-Construction Coordinator

Exciting homebuilder opportunity! We are seeking an energetic detail-oriented and organized preconstruction Coordinator to join our team. We are a centrally located custom homebuilder and remodeler founded on integrity, quality, and trust. Job Goal: The Pre-Construction Coordinator facilitates the smooth completion of construction projects by ensuring adequate and timely flow of estimates, selections, and material purchasing.

Responsibilities

· Estimate labor and material for residential construction projects prior to Contract

· Coordinate the delivery of supplies according to priorities, schedule, and project requirements

· Manage the purchasing and ordering of materials to meet project schedule

· Manage the confirmation of material selections by client

· Inspect orders on arrival to ensure correct quantity and quality

· Develop selection and purchasing checklists

· Maintain current project selections and specifications

· Manage project Change Orders

· Provide office based support to construction team

Skills & Ablilities

· Ability to read and understand construction blueprints and documents

· Attention to detail

· Ability to communicate with clarity and respect with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and colleagues

· Effective at solving problems in a manner that balances client needs, current schedules, and awareness of financial impact.

· Ability to work independently or in a team to accurately represent the values and goals of the company

· Well organized

Requirements

· Experience in construction estimating

· Ability to understand residential construction documents

· Experience in residential home building

· Strong computer/software experience in Microsoft Office Suite, CoConstruct, Square Takeoff, Excell, or other similar estimating software experience

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
