Solari is Hiring a Philanthropy Coordinator Near Phoenix, AZ

The Job/What You'll Do:
The Philanthropy Coordinator is a critical member of the philanthropy and fundraising team. The coordinator assists in the development and execution of fundraising strategies, donor outreach, campaign management, and gala planning. The Philanthropy Coordinator provides administrative and communications support to the philanthropy team and maintains the donor CRM platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to Solari's Annual Philanthropy Plan To exceed budgeted revenue.
  • Provide administrative support to the Philanthropy Team.
  • Coordinate logistics for team meetings, donor engagements and other philanthropy related events.
  • Provide gala support as needed including tracking auction items, following up on sponsor payments, and coordinating the logistic support for awards.
  • Coordinate in-kind donations.
  • Maintain the philanthropic database to ensure data is accurate and consistently cleaned.
  • Facilitate quarterly audits, ensuring all accounts are cleaned up and duplicate accounts are merged.
  • Manage donor lists for proper recognition.
  • Enter and assign leads and new accounts as needed.
  • Ensure touchpoints are logged as needed.
  • Develop and pull reports and mailing lists for department activities.
  • Coordinate and administer donor stewardship and acknowledgment activities to support portfolio managers.
  • Draft and mail donor acknowledgment letters.
  • Provide prompt, courteous, and professional internal and external customer service, including responding to internal and external communications promptly and attentively.

  • Strategically plans for diversity initiatives as they relate to development, including donor acquisition, development, and retention.

Education & Experience:

  • 1 year of experience in field, Required
  • Bachelors Degree, Preferred
    • (NOTE: A comparable combination of education/experience and/or training will be considered equivalent to the education listed above.)

Working Conditions:

While performing the job duties in the office or at a home office, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands; they must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Exposure to noise typical with office operations. Ability to hear and speak.
