Registered Veterinary Technician  

Are you an experienced Veterinary Technician looking to advance your career in Emergency medicine? Solano-Napa Pet Emergency Clinic has been providing Emergency Veterinary services to the Solano and Napa counties since 1985. Our hospital is dedicated to providing compassionate, state-of-the-art emergency care for pets. At SPEC we care for each pet as if they were a member of our family. 

Skills and Qualifications:  

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid California RVT Certification
  • Genuinely enjoys working with animals and can effectively deal with them even when they are stressed, ill, or in pain.
  • Able to work with a great attitude and be flexible with clinic/patient/staff needs.
  • Interact with other team members with professionalism and respect.
  • Can stay calm and efficient during a medical crisis.
  • Approaches his/her job duties in a mature nature.
  • Practices excellent communication skills verbal, written and non-verbal.
  • Must be able to lift and restrain pets of at least 40 pounds, and work on feet most of the day
