Solano-Napa Habitat for Humanity is Hiring an Assistant Manager (FT) Near Fairfield, CA
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred, and a minimum of 3 years’ experience supervising at least 5 employees or volunteers.
- Experience in computer operations in programs such as Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and 365.
- Knowledge of cash register/POS systems.
- Assists ReStore Manager with opening and closing ReStore, balancing registers, preparing reports, preparing deposits, and varied administrative duties.
- Enforces policies and procedures to maintain an effective, efficient, and safe ReStore operation.
- Enforces customer service procedures and maintains donor and customer operations.
- Provides leadership and supervision to staff and volunteers.
- Trains staff and volunteers in on-the-job duties.
- Experience in warehouse management and inventory control systems, sales, merchandising, salvage, and environmental areas.
- Must be able to lift and move items that are 50 pounds.
- Able to stand for extended periods of time on cement floors—up to two to four uninterrupted hours in a crowded retail facility.
- Effective interpersonal skills working with customers, volunteers, and staff.
- Performs additional ReStore duties and tasks as required and assigned by ReStore Manager.
