Frontier Chemical currently has an opening for a Dispatcher to serve as the primary contact for CDL Drivers. Responsible to ensure completion and resolution of all work orders in company database on a daily basis. The successful candidate will provide phone updates to field personnel and take appropriate actions to respond to complaints or questions accordingly.

Job Description:

• Maintains effective communication with customers, drivers, office personnel, and management to ensure the timeliness of crude oil, water, and fuel movement.
• Creates schedule for transportation of crude oil, water, and fuel
• Manages loads from assigned to delivery, managing any problems that arise including late deliveries, unexpected fees/claims, truck and/or driver problems, ensuring drivers abide by federal and state laws.
• Documents dispatches using automated technology.
• Dispatches loads to appropriate drivers or appropriate areas.
• Serves as main point of contact with clients regarding crude oil transport service.
• Responsible for client retention by ensuring exceptional service and resolving issues.
• Maintains maintenance files (DVIR), DOT logs, oil tickets, and office paperwork related to dispatching.
• Uses computer automation to look up lease numbers, tank numbers, leases by name, operator number, barrel flow by destination and ticket number.
• Utilizes computer, radios, and telephones to assign new tank numbers to leases, move tank increments from one lease to another, and reactivate tank numbers as necessary.
• Recommends strategies to generate resources and increase productivity.
• Responsible in assisting with updates of lease/tank information to prevent hauling errors.
• Will answer scheduling calls after hours as necessary.
• Assists with special projects.
• All other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Ability to follow all Company policies and procedures including but not limited to attendance standards.

• Strong customer service skills required.
• Must be very detail oriented.
• Ability to multi-task such as talking on the phone while typing data in the computer or searching customer information.
