Sor Ynez is an exciting new concept within the NextFab compound at American & Berks. We are excited to offer many vegan and carnivorous options, an expanding beverage program full of craft cocktails, beer, and wine, brunch and happy hour.

This job primarily includes the duties of busser, food runners and barbacks. You will be required to assist the servers and bartenders with anything they need for service. This position is ideal for those new to the industry, or those who seek to decide which position suits them best within the restaurant industry. No previous restaurant experience is required.

Shifts currently include Friday and Saturday Dinner, Sunday Brunch

5. Understand completely all programs, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs.
6. Understand philosophy of management and owner. Displays consistent attention to detail and follow through of all restaurant policies.
7. Represents the restaurant professionally through effective communication, cooperation and relationships with the all business partners. 

Specific Duties:

This position will include, but is not limited to, the following duties

• Arriving on time and in correct attire for each shift
• Communicating efficiently with both coworkers and management is imperative
• Maintaining a clean and organized space, follow correct opening & closing procedures
• Setting up the bar for service before opening and breaking down at close
• Maintaining cleanliness of all restaurant areas during service, restocking as necessary
• Retrieving anything bartenders & servers may need during service efficiently and timely
• Running correct food items from the kitchen to the guest correctly
• Cleaning and organizing the restaurant during the shift and after closing
• Assisting guests in any way necessary, and informing bartenders and management about any guest incidents or issues
