Position Summary
We are looking for a careful forklift operator to move packages and material around our facilities. You will be operating a forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety. You’ll load and unload shipments of various sizes (packaging and finished good items) and you may use certain types of equipment such as stand-up, sit-down, or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks.
Your job could involve driving around warehouses, storage spaces and other facilities. You must be a responsible individual with great experience in driving industrial vehicles. The goal will be to ensure that materials and products will always be at the right place to achieve maximum efficiency. Our environment is team oriented, fast paced and safety focused.
Responsibilities:
  • Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places
  • Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using various types of forklifts or other power equipment
  • Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring the exact number and types of product is loaded.
  • Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
  • Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
  • Transport raw materials to production workstations
  • Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance
  • Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs
  • Assist in physical inventories.
  • Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
  • Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities
  • Verify load accuracy; check the load count, stability, and product damage, report variances as necessary.
  • Change equipment battery and monitor power source as necessary.
  • Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
Shift – 1st - 6am to 2:30pm
This position is eligible for an incentive bonus, as well as medical, prescription, dental, vision, 401K, Short- and Long-Term Disability coverage.

Proven experience as forklift operator
