SoHo Dragon is looking to hire a Linux Engineer.
100% onsite role.
The responsibilities of the Linux Engineer include the following:
1. Ensuring effective daily operations of company’s Linux based systems.
2. Experience with running virtualized Linux based systems within a VMware environment.
3. Knowledge and experience with VMware’s Tanzu platform
4. In accordance with change management policy, make changes to system software and hardware so that performance meets company’s objectives and maintain SLA’s.
5. Experience with implementing and maintaining anti-virus for Linux based systems like RPM, DEB, etc.
6. Experience in patching and maintaining Linux based systems.
7. Manage and apply necessary system security access.
8. Analyze performance indicators to ensure that systems are operating efficiently.
9. Advance knowledge of Linux based server’s and associated products.
10. Build and maintain Linux based servers and associated applications in a highly available, scalable, and secure environment.
11. Basic knowledge of DNS/SAN/WAN/LAN networking
12. Experience working with Azure, or other cloud-based platforms.
13. Provide support, troubleshooting, and design of our cloud environment.
14. Experience with Tomcat and Apache
15. Exposure and experience with cloud-based platforms as an extension of the Linux based server environment.
16. Perform root cause analysis for Linux based servers.
17. Team player and ability to work well with others.
18. Experience working in the Healthcare Industry will be an added advantage.
19. After hours and weekend work at times required.
20. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
