Soggy Dog Suites is Hiring a Pet Care Specialist Near Salina, KS

We are seeking a Pet Care Specialist to help care for dogs of all breeds and sizes. Position includes exercising, feeding, administering medications and cleaning up after dogs, both indoors and outside, per procedure guidelines for facility cleanliness. Prior experience caring for dogs, whether professionally or not, is crucial for this position. You also need to be physically able to keep up with our active guests.

Basic Responsibilities

  • Clean suites, common areas, equipment
  • Play with and exercise dogs
  • Feed and water guests on set schedule
  • Administer medications
  • Take dogs to playground on set schedule for playtime and "outside" breaks
  • Use computer-based software to complete variety of Operational Reports
  • Provide customer service to guests

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Applicants must be 18 years or older; high school diploma or GED certificate is preferred
  • Experience working with animals; boarding or daycare experience preferred
  • Physical stamina: bending, squatting, lifting on a daily basis
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS ARE REQUIRED
  • Knowledge of computers and ability to understand reporting procedures

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
