Job Description:

• This Website Manager / Content Rollout Specialist would have the responsibility of maintaining an interactive integrated information system for academic and administrative technology.

Required Skills:

• Minimum 3 years' experience supporting website content management.
• Solid background as a customer service-focused Tech, ideally with some experience in an education setting
• Strong experience and proficiency in maintaining/uploading site content, PR/Marketing Materials, technology, communication and/or webservices.
• Proven success Communicating across an organization (ideally across a district or state school system)
• Excellent communications skills and the ability to work collaboratively with Vendors and Colleagues/Faculty/Staff
• Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 platform.
• Experience in a K-12 school setting or equivalent, ideally supporting information technology or sites/systems such as: Final Site, Parent Square, PowerSchool, Infinite Campus and/or other Education Platforms
• Bachelor's Degree from regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university

Desired Skills:

• Experience using/supporting any of the following, Final Site, Parent Square, PowerSchool, Infinite Campus and/or other Education Platforms or School Information/Data System(s)
• Possible PR communications or at least working alongside Syntax to support the district.
• Willingness to attend occasional night events.
• Azure experience
• Any appropriate technical certifications are highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Help manage, monitor & update district website to ensure relevancy of material posted.
• Support with PD and training when new programs are rolled out to faculty/new staff members.
• Must be on call for emergency shout points after hours - (unusual but does happen).
• Responsible for formulating, sending out, and posting messages to staff and the community.
• Help manage and update communication lists and databases.
• Help implement a technology infrastructure that sets district -wide application software standards.
• Serve as a liaison to vendor(s) and provide support to individual schools - Principals/Faculty/Staff.
• Help Develop service training for administrative computer use.
• Help Assure the efficient and effective operation of all administrative hardware and software including business operation.
• Prepares reports and presentations as needed and/or directed.
• Performs other responsibilities as deemed by the Superintendent of Schools or her/his designer.
• Policy implementation.
• Provide ongoing oversight of technology sites & systems.
• Help with the District Disaster Recovery Plan.
• Help faculty and the Executive Director for Instructional Technology and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math), to provide directions for purchasing hardware and software to meet the academic needs of the students.
